NFC Quick Reference Guide

Please note that the average product read range is 2-5mm. Having metal obstructions or a bulky phone case will likely diminish the phone’s ability to read the NFC signals efficiently.
iPhone (XS and Newer)
- NFC is always on, no settings needed.
- Tap near the front camera (top of the back).
Samsung Galaxy (S6 and newer)
- Go to Settings>Connections>NFC and Contactless Payments.
- Scan mid-to-upper back of the phone.
Google Pixel (All models)
- Go to Settings>Connected Devices>Connection Preferences>NFC.
- Scan top center back of phone.
OnePlus (6 and newer)
- Go to Settings>Connection & Sharing> NFC.
- Scan upper-middle back of phone.
Motorola (varies by model)
- Go to Settings>Connected Devices>NFC.
- Scan center back of device.
Sony Xperia
- Go to Settings>Device Connection>NFC.
- Look for the “N” logo on the back to scan.
Huawei (varies by model)
- Go to Settings>More>NFC.
- Scan just below the camera on back.
Popular Tablets & Smartwatches
- iPads: No NFC scanning support.
- Apple Watch: NFC only for Apple Pay.
- Android Watches: Limited scanning (model-dependent).
