How to Measure for Ring Size

Step 1: Gather Materials

To start, gather a few items: a strip of paper, a pen or marker, a ruler or measuring tape, and scissors.

Step 2: Prepare Paper

Cut a thin strip of paper, about 1/4 inch wide and 4 inches long. Make sure it’s long enough to wrap around your finger comfortably.

Step 3: Wrap and Mark

Wrap the paper strip around the base of the finger you plan to wear the ring on. Make sure it’s snug but not too tight. Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen or marker.

Step 4: Measure and Determine Size

Using the ruler or measuring tape, measure the length from the end of the paper strip to the mark you made. Match this measurement to a ring size chart to determine your ring size.
